The goal focuses on ensuring universal access to affordable, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy.
Vetec provides load monitoring components for renewable energy generation, and we work actively on reducing our CO2 emissions by encouraging responsible energy consumption in our workflows. We have installed LED lighting with automatic sensors at our offices and warehouses. We favor online meetings and thus reduce travel activities. Our forklift is battery electric, and our company cars are gradually switched to plug-in hybrid alternatives with chargers already installed at our facilities.
In the future, we intend to install solar panels at our facilities and contribute to the generation of clean and renewable energy.
Promoting economic growth through decent jobs
The goal focuses on promoting sustained and inclusive economic growth through productive and decent jobs.
Vetec enables safe operations of advanced and dangerous industrial processes. Our load monitoring products increase safety and provide accurate data for professionals working in harsh environments.
We work actively on promoting decent and inclusive jobs across our own organization. We offer part-time and flexible jobs for employees with reduced ability to work full time. We employ student workers and promote trainee periods during studies. Our older employees are offered gradual adaptation of employment terms in order to phase in retirement.
All employees are regularly offered skill development courses and cost reductions identified by employees are shared by everyone through bonus schemes.

The goal focuses on building resilient infrastructure and promoting sustainable industrialization that foster innovative solutions and new technology.
Vetec provides critical components and engineering know-how to blue-chip customers constructing large and innovative infrastructure projects, such as shore-power solutions, offshore wind farms, autonomous robots and hydrogen electrolysis facilities. We try to share our technical expertise with all interested stakeholders in order to play our part in the development of innovative industrial products and solutions that benefit individuals and society at large.
We work actively on promoting new technology at our facilities in an effort to strengthen our technical competencies and discover smarter and less energy intensive workflows and processes.

The goal focuses on ensuring sustainable consumption and production patterns.
Vetec provides high-quality products that are designed to last in the most demanding environments. Our repair and calibration workshop increases product lifetime through preventive maintenance and our on-site service technicians ensure timely replacement of wear and spare parts. We primarily develop products consisting of raw materials that can be recycled, and the gradual implementation of 3D printing technology and in-house production significantly reduces the need for transportation in the early stages of the lifecycle.
We work actively on reducing our negative impact at our facilities by promoting responsible behavior in everyday work. We have banned the use of toxic chemicals for cleaning and gardening as well as increased our separation of waste in all departments.
